Not bad at all. Ditto about having one in FS24.

Looking good! But I was always going to say that of course....

I have just added some interesting documents to my site: https://www.vc10.net/Photos/memorabelia ... Flightplan
You can recreate the final ferry of A4O-AB using these and fly from Muscat to London Heathrow as it did in 1987. Enjoy!

Thanks, for posting that flight plan Jelle. It was great to see the old familiar names UB29, LSD and UR1S from the days before everything was renamed and renumbered!

In 1987, I was a Sector Controller at London Control and often used to work that sector (the Cklacton Sector) so who kows, it could have beemn me but, to be honest, I don't remember it.

The VC10 was always one of my favourite aircraft but they did cause some problems when streaming traffic into LAM. If I recall correctly they always descended at 290KIAS whilst the Tridents and 111s etc all flew b@lls out on the initial descent at anything between 310 and 330KIAS and disn't like being dragged back to 290KIAS if there was a VC10 in the lead. Ah, happy days.

Pete

That is interesting, thanks for sharing that Pete! I would have to check the performance manual and see if there were other options for the descent. I guess they had more freedom in speed selection in those days.

I used the JustFlight VC-10 which worked in FSX and P3Dv4, it was decent but never ported it to the newer sims.
