This came up in a thread about the Avro Ashton which although similar in general appearance is not related in any way.

There is a Jetliner under construction for those interested the link to the FS.com forum below

Hi Everyone,

I am the designer of the Jetliner for FS. I have been coming to this forum for a long time, mostly because of Rick Piper. His work is awesome and I hope to develope like him.

Yes the Jetliner is in the very early stages. Reading up on the history of the jet and trying to get as many pictures as possible, which is very hard to do. I have also upgraded from FSDS 2 to FSDS 3 and hoping to get some of those XML gauges into the VC.

Mark C, if you do create sounds for the Jetliner, can I include them with the release? The Jetliner will be freeware. I have a lot of talented people already helping out but sound is one area that we could use help on. If you are interested in joining the project, e-mail me at vcdg "at" sympatico.ca so we can talk more.

I am hoping to find someone in the Ottawa area to take pictures of the remaining cockpit section. It would be very nice to have some updated pictures of the panels/gauges to work on the VC.

Thanks for the interest.

Nice looking project. I did have a article featuring the Jetliner in Take off magazine with nice colour three view and a pics but I have been looking but can't find it.

If I do I will scan

Garry

EDIT*************

Found it the only pic was water damaged as was this

from Take Off magazine

Here for a general look at the aircraft

Zoren if this is any use and you want it I can send the original scan which is almost twice this size.
