Morning Tony
Sorry to hear about HJG but as you said not unexpected...Id just ambled
over here to suggest the same to the group and Rob specifically - that the
new site might be a good venue for your excellent paint jobs - problem
there is your going to need to post the aircraft as well....correct???
Cheers
Leif

Thats true
Plus if anyone wants to grab the DC8 and 707 panels from HJG while
they last and have difficulty loading them I have a little tutorial on
how to install them that I did yonks back for a couple of people on the
forum that seemed to have worked excellently - If you dont know
the best DC8 panel IS a HJG for s short while longer.....its a thing of
beauty of IF you can get used to hearingthe invertors running from
the opening page
Cheers
Leif
PS Rob looks like you have a bunch of downlaods for the website

I'm more than happy to ave em.
Did we decide if a 707 would be allowed
I'm going to set up a seperate section for British Airlines as opposed to British Aircraft.
Seems like the easiest way.
May take a few days to sort through though, i've set aside this evening for sorting through Garry's 110 1-11 paints i've got!!

Actually .... Tony's done a beautiful selection of "BRITISH" registered/opereated B707's in both full definitive and hybrid liveries :-({|=
He also did a beautiful TRANSMERIDIAN AIR CARGO DC8-54F (G-BHFW) as well .... and someone else did the IAS CARGO DC8-55F (G-BSKY .... I think) .... the only 2 classic British operators to have flown DC8's though I understand HEAVYLIFT may have more recently leased a "Stretched 8" from BAX GLOBAL or somwhere.
Garry RUSSELL's already done a couple of the more rare versions of BOAC & BOAC CUNARD livery for RR CONWAY powered B707-420 too .... and I understand he mayy be contemplating others as well :-({|=
What a bloody shame the CV880 and CV990 never ended up on the "G" register.
What a pity

They'll both be appearing. I think that both the DC8 & 707 are most definately classics and just because some aren't intrested they shouldn't be kept from those who are.Garry Russell wrote:Actually I have sent the two BOAC paints to Rob with a comment on leaving to him to decide what to do, so if they are wanted they are alread there.

In a seperate section mind
I've just spent the past few hours adding the descriptions for the Viscounts (I meant to say viscount not 1-11 earlier...) and will sort the thumbs tomorrow.
Once the massive backlogs cleared I can start to make the site look a bit better.
Up to 174 repaints now which isn't bad in a week...

Just one less, I counted 109 1-11's. They're all up as well, without descriptions or screenshots but still up.Garry Russell wrote:Mind you there are about that number of One-Elevens with you as well
You're doing a great job Rob

At 283 repaints now.
The UKSD scenery is also uploaded and does look rather nice.
