I can just imagine sitting in the window seat and wanting to go to the toilet and after a major effort to get everyone to move making it to the aisle to find thet jammed with trolleys and people in transit. :curse:

There must have been a few puddles in those.

BT

If you check out Toby's site or Robs site you will find a Kuwait and Iraqi Airways as well if you are not aware of them.

Like the Channel it is a Trident 2 pretending to be a T 1E it's almost a T1E so really as sort of virtual 1E  ...............if you follow

Hi BT

Channel always squeezed them in to make travel affordable

It didn't make Channel money it was operating the 1-11 and the Trident in particular that was the end of them.

Buying Comets to try and get through with one Trident held against debt sealed their fate.

In those days few people could afford air travel.

It is the big aircraft that changed that.

Their DC 4 had 78 seats
