I have a book or two on the Harrier that might have some useful info and pics and Rob Barendregt (sp?) will likely help out on V/STOL. If I were making it, it concentrate on getting it performing correctly once airborne as thrust vectoring is really only used (over here anyway I think) for t/o and landing. Obviously in the old days it was done (in FS) by setting the flaps to have hery high lift and very high drag values, the flaw being the aircraft had to retain some, ~9kts, forward velocity else it went totally unstable. I wonder if these days though it would be possible to dynamically alter the thrust vector value in the AIR file with some nifty XML code?
Either way, I'd LOVE a proper British Harrier (GR.1/3/FRS.1/AV-8A/C/S) and knowing you there'd probably be a two seat one after that

Well Toby.. I've just joined you there so we're up by one!! Think I'll get all the customers upstairs to login and vote our way too!!
I have been wary of voting for it even though I'd love one. The FD alone is enough to turn strong men into quivering wrecks and I don't envy DG with this at all. Making it look right is one thing... making it fly like a Harrier..
You are totally off your rocker DG.. absolutely lost the plot!!
