OSS LCY

Post by Jetset »

After being directed to their page to view details on LGW, I noticed that they also do a version of LCY, which also includes London landmark scenery. Has anybody got this?

If so, is it better, do you now than the VFR London scenery, and is it a frame rate killer?

I use it and it isn't bad but has some errors. I emailed OSS some time ago offering to supply photos of the ramp etc to improve upon the product bit they didn't even bother getting back to me. The stand markings are totally incorrect but as I say, they had a golden oppurtunity to correct this with my help.

Wouldn't mind seeing what the VFR London LCY is like but I'm not going to pay for the whole thing when I only want the airport.

Cheers matey, I'd like to see a screenshot of a Fk50 or 146 parked on stand so I can see if the markings are correct.
OSS made a total hash of theirs and when the aircraft are parked, no part of it should overhang another stand or the taxiway. It's very tight but as I say they got it all wrong.

In fact, looking at the Visual Flight shots, I'd say they are also incorrect.

See this pic...

The full turn bar..... 1st line is for props, 2nd for jets, same with the stop bar. Look at the lines at an angle and there is no way an aircraft could be straight once the turn is complete.

I may be wrong, I'd need to see a pic with an aircraft parked there.

I understand that it is difficult to get it right as there aren't many pics on the net detailing the stand areas.
