I learned to fly on this aeroplane, so naturally I am pleased to display it here at McLeland Field. I made a Recording of my display and then used the recording to take these shots in one pass.

Very nice indeed.

Is it in the colours of one you flew when in training?

Gorgeous Harvard Pete

I think I might have to have a stab at that - And see if someone wants to paint it in "Warlock" colours - ( A T6 racer from Reno)

Thanks as usual for the incredible screenies - I can only try to match that

No Martin,

Ours were silver...somebody coloured this B/W photo from my website:-

And I think that is about right...Here is another, uncoloured one:-

That's me in the front seat and my instructor Flying Officer Cooper in the back.

I flew at Harvard at Shoreham and really enjoyed it. Great sound from the 700hp radial

Yes, The prop too, makes a rather special noise as the tips are near supersonic. Harvards can do some pretty serious rattling of windows as they pass by.

BTW...I'm using an excellent sound set from Aaron Swindle on this Harvard
