rick i've just had a shufty at flynet, under the fleet section and your correct. in the list of bac 1-11 there are none that are in stanstead. the only thing you can do is buy a ticket and move to an airport where there are some bac 1-11's.

Hi David

OK but i am here in the 1-11 and it is where my last flight arrived in this aircraft so i don't quite unserstand why.

there are 11 BAC 1-11s based here so who is not returning to their home airport like we where told to do ?.

Rick

Many of the 1-11's are still across the pond waiting to be ferried over. Four are in KORD and four more are at KJFK. Rather than just transferring them I think we should setup some ferry flights to transfer them over, here is my suggestion.

Trans01 KORD->KJFK (642nm) (Chicago to NYC)
Trans02 KJFK->CYQX (995nm) (Gandor)
Trans03 CYQX->BGBW (796nm) (Narsarsuag Greenland)
Trans04 BGBW->BIRK (668nm) (Reykjavik Iceland)
Trans05 BIRK->EGSS (1008nm)

Make sure they are set at x16 to encourage pilots to do it.

sorry but that makes no sense to me.

who flew them over there ?.

they where here yesterday now i lose money for no reason.

only 5 of the 900 or so 1-11s have been flown from our massively overstocked fleet.

suddenly they all get teleported to the USA !.

sorry but that sucks.
No more VA for me.

I fly at 1x as if you want to fly on accelerated time why bother?.

Rick

Currently the 1-11's are located here:

EDDM 5
EGBB 2
EGCC 6
EGGW 1
KJFK 4
KORD 4
LFPG 1

When Aircraft are created in flynet they tend to scatter them all over, you need to ether pay to transfer them or setup a ferry flight to move it over. I think we purchased the 1-11 but never transfered them. There is a fee you can pay to have them automatically moved but I think it would be more fun to fly them.

There are 5 in Munich with no flights out and 5 in manchester that we can fly to Girona and them back to Stansend. Not the best option I agree.

Hi Joe

i'm still stuffed :sad:

bought a ticket to manchester but there is only one 1-11 flightplan and it's already booked.

I will wait a few days as i have no wish to fly on the other side of the pond at all.

My system is set up for european flights and i'm not changing it just to get something to fly.

something very odd is going on as it was fine 2 days ago now everyone is flying one way and abandoning the aircraft to fly something different.

John made it clear that all flights should be 2 way so that this did not happen.

Rick

Hi Rick,

I feel your pain. I going across the pond now would not do much good right now as the ferry flights have not been setup yet.

I generally agree with the return trip guideline, of course I just broke that by flying transatlantic and being limited to a 4x simrate, I am in no hurry to return, I think I will fly it around the Bahama's for a while.
