Hi Andy....... exactly right.........but note this quote from Dave M!!!!!!
Yep, pity the poor developer. Computers are so stupid & pedantic to deal with, and then on top of that the people that use them are completely unreliable
Do you think he's going to believe us???!!!

Speaking as a computer programmer and a form of human being, I'll happily stand by that as a fact!
As for believing you. Well, being diplomatic, I believe you had a problem installing it, but I also believe that the install programs work.

Any explaination anyone could think of involving receiving, extracting or running the wrong file (or not running it) is far more likely than the correct install programs doing it wrong.
If it is proved to be the install program at fault, I promise to come back and stuff myself full of humble pie. :sicky:
Anyway, so long as it worked in the end.

Hi DM, just before this thread is finally put to bed just like to say that what happened to me is a complete mystery......did not have any problems previously but now I'm up and flying the BAC 1-11 with the VC all present and correct and extremely pleased with it.

Many thanks for a superb aircraft!!

Regards Nigel.
