Rich

I have found the only way to keep reflective water using Aqua is to keep
the water fx slider maxed out

Leif, it is maxed out, not sure what is causing it, even if I reinstall all my previous water textures I do'nt get the reflections now except for a split second when it loads and I see the water texture cover the reflection.

Sorry Rich

Then Im fresh out of ideas -- I noticed the shine today flying Jens 84 across the sea of Japan from fl230 - At first I thought it was a thin layer of cloud - the only time I really see full on reflective shine is around dawn or
sunset otherwise it seems about that you would see in real life - I have some photos somewhere taken from altitude just south of Nassaraq
looking at icebergs - they appear to be white jobbies sticking out of a very flat non reflective ocean - and that was real life NOT the sim

Thanks for all the posts, I have now got the beach surf files, I oddly enough only have waves at Maeria! everywhere else nothing, however I do have reflections and water movement now! I think it has something to do with FE ?? Anyway I can live with it just curious as to why ....seems I am not alone....
