Classic British Flight Sim

Hi all,

Now that we have 1000 members, a thought just crossed my mind (scary I know), why are many members on here called as they are? There are some weird and wonderful nicknames and I am just curious to know as to why people chose the name they have.

Now I know many, especially the more sane members have chose not to call themselves by a nickname. Nothing wrong with that I suppose, but perhaps they are reluctant or embarressed about disclosing what their nicknames are? :think:

Perhaps Garry Russell is better known as 'Cuddles' !!:poke:

Or maybe DaveB is known as 'Pugwash' to his locals!! :dance:

Come on folks if you have a nick-name, then why?

Or if you have'nt then did you ever have one?

BTW mine was because of where I used to live. Its as simple as that..

I suppose Jetset might have something to do with Manchester based air 2000

But I'm probably wrong!

When I was signing up, Jetset was the first thing that came into my mind, made possible by the fact that on my airband radio at the time an Air2000 (aka First Choice) flight, callsign Jetset, was flying overhead.

Boring really, but that's how it happened.
