Dan..

Shots of VC10's in 'Golden Speedbird' livery are never boring or dull

Btw.. are you going to join the VA once we get some VC10 schedules up and running?? You'd be senior captain in a week!!

Dan, dull never comes into your shots! I agree with Dave, with your experience and flying knowledge of the VC, I can see you as senior captain in no time!

Your both too kind

It's really all Davids doing, I'm just sitting there pulling and pushing the different keys...

Well, I've skimmed the VA threads for a while, and might take it up...right now I'm just seeing where my trips take me too...apparently we're now nearing the eastern part of the world....I'm basing this trip of the BOAC 1969 route net...making the tour up myself, and getting a free scenery per each destination, in that way I'm slowly filling my add-on scenery bank up  I'll try to drop a pic or two when I get to Bahrain....

Btw. someone asked for screenies of the aquarama water textures in use. Well I have it, and it is in use in the pic in the "just a nice.." -thread. Very nice effects. (not very visible over the desert though.... )

I should never have told you. You have a memory of an elephant !

Nope never again. Tonks learned me then how to calculate fuel, and never overestimate distances...also it is more fun to fly 1-2 hour flights than a long distance over 10-12 hours ...I've learned my lesson...(If I was ever to try that stunt again, I sure will be polite enough to tell people to not get aboard in the first place....

I agree with you Dan. Transatlantic flights get the job done but by the end of it, you are in need of something else. Two-hour flights are a good actual time and you can cover some distance in the VC10 in two hours!!
