Hi Hobby

You should not have [IMG] on the end in a hotlink.

To display the bottom link that starts [img]http://i32.photobucket.com and ends [img] should display the pic

there is no www. in the link

You should be able to try different things and check with preview before you post.

Hobby

If I copy and paste your whole post onto a new post it's OK

Look see................

First try at posting a jpg from photobucket.
Norwegian F16 near Seattle: 'Into the sunset'

So the link is OK but it is not showing on your post

Really the title is a bit long and you should avoid upper case letters if possible

Hi Peter

[IMG] is the way photobucket creates the name by default cpas or lower case it doesn't matter

Point that's strange is, cut and past the original post into a new post and the pic displays.....there is nothing wrong with the original link.

Odd.. very odd  I've looked at that link too Garry and can't see anything wrong with it. The only thing different in Hobby's profile was BBcode was off so I turned that on and still nada

Image

If the shot is showing above, that link is correct :k:

Will ask Ben if he can see anything obvious

Thanks Dave

There was another member recently with the same problem

So there could be something of interest happening here :dunno:

maybe Hobby is trying to add the IMG or URL improperly
all I do to post a picture, is copy and paste the text in the IMG
line , generated by the hosting picture site.
(at the bottom of page at photobucket)

Then after pasting the text in the post.
I highlight (that) text and click on the IMG butoon under the Subject line.
right Garry? thats how you told me to do it.,
works every time,
BTW thanks again GArry for the good help,
Joe
in fact thanks to all , I learn something interesting here every day>
