hobby:

If you let your mouse hover over the Img- botton you wil see the correct syntax

starts with an Image tag. (please note the slash).

In between the two tags the url to the image should reside, with NO space before or after....so if your url looks like this:
http://www.linktomypic.com/mypics/test.jpg...

the whole insert should look like this (except that I have put in a couple of space before and after to show you):

If you remove the spaces you will get:

(You will off course see a red cross here as this is not a valid url...)

Hi Dan

There is nothing wrong with the original link at all syntax or anything it's right and it works but not in Hobbys post.

The space was put in to show the line without it appearing as a pic which is whu I told him to knock it out

The problem is not with the link as such

If you read back you se I copy and poast his original and it is fine

No probs Dan

And at least you gave some input  ....but what's throwing a lot off is the fact that the link is OK and common sense says it must be the link....

Strange when Hobby runs his link nothing when he runs mine..a pic but it's too big.

It seems really odd so anyone can be forgiven for thinking code problem as that is what we expect.

I know of at least one other person that gets nothing from a perfect link.

Of course only a fraction of members have tried so it may be a bigger problem than is realised :worried: so it is one that's worth sorting.

Well anyways I think it was a good suggestion to try the preview function before actually posting, that's what I did the first time...have had no problems ever since.

Mind though, that I made a separate Album at Photobucket, and this is where my pic resides, but even that doesn't seems to be the problem.

hmm. kinda tricky this one...
