Short Flight in a FGR.2

Post by Reheat »

Hi guys!

Didn't have time for a substantial flight this evening, got car insurance to sort out - ugh!, so I did a quick 40nm hop from Gatwick to a fictional airfield.

Here are the shots, sorry some of them are a bit dark, hope you enjoy them!

Thanks for posting, Alex.
I'm afraid the jury is still out on that one for me. Not sure about the shape. I'll just hang on for a little while til the next one comes along, so I can compare them.

Andy,

Yep, probably a good decision there mate, I just think its so great to have a choice to make for once. Its what, as an enthusiast, I would like to see for all aircraft.

Everyone, like every aircraft, has different buttons to push!

Alex, It's like waiting ages for a No9 bus, then they all come along together.
To be honest, with an aircraft like the F4, the market is big enough for more than one. It was a global aircraft.

I posted a couple of days ago that this was now available but you're the only one who's owned up to buying it Alex  Can you post a couple of panel shots please??

Like Steve.. I'll sit on the fence for a while

Dave,

Its VC only at the moment. Apparently the average IRIS customer likes it that way.

The Panel, when it is released, should it match the VC will be very nice. I think David Brice is on holiday until Late July now though so no panel for a while, probably when the Carrier version is released.

But till then I'll just have to keep using the TrackIR - which sometimes I'm really not in the mood for!

Nevermind eh?

Why the VC only option?

I'm not trying to be funny here, but they arn't the best VC's arround at the moment either, it must be said.

The Vast majority of the FS poulation use the 2D panel.

Erm, DSB release it without a 2d panel, David goes away for a couple of months. Maybe delaying tactics.................... :dunno: :-$

Maybe,

But I won't be buying an aircraft without one
