I am suffering a Mouse nightmare !

Post by Rick Piper »

Hi Guys
since last night my mouse cursor dissapears about every 1 minute.

i have toleft click to get it back but after this it is not seen by FS9 & i am unable to click anything once the cursor has gone to sleep once.

I dodn't install anything new , it just started doing it :crying:
it's infuriating to say the least!

How can i get it working ?.

Not installed anything and have never ever installed the logitech mouse driver as it kust wastes space and fills the taskbar with more rubbish.

It's fully charged before somone suggests that.

Regards
Rick

I'd install the drivers and see how that goes. You've not installed anything for it to happen?

Hi Rick
sory to hear you having problems...
you've probably tried this but just to complete a
Check list (if you will)
unplug and replug the usb connection
and check the hardware properties in the system
It could be radio interference .........is the reciever or mouse close to the moniter?
another posibility is the chip in the mouse or reciever is going
bad, or the energy saver circuit in the mouse.
start with the connections and the power
(a little PROPER electronic cleaner or contact cleaner
would be something to do .....just for maintaince sake)
then the posibility of interference
and then the software
this may be needed as it makes the mouse work properly
instead of a driver or even Generic driver recognizing the mouse as a regular wired mouse
hope it helps rick

Agree with airboatr Rick - I have the MX100 laser mouse and had exactly the same probs as you. Moved the reciever away from monitor, speakers etc and all is now ok.
