What to make next?

Post by TobyV »

Hi chaps.. I think I'm in the situation Dave G was in recently... various things on the go and not too sure what people would actually like to see at a releasable state. Having recently released my 1981 update to Southampton (there may also be a patch for the 1988 version too) but been slightly underwhelmed by takeup - someone did request it, I want to try and get a few more popular things done, so heres your chance to vote on it.

Next scenery out will undoubtedly be Leif's two Gloucestershire airfields, but after that who knows....

I am not fussy really Toby, I'm sure the finished item will be very good. I recall you wanted to do a 125 not so long ago. That would be nice. Did you scrap the 125 idea?

Hi Eddie... I did, and tried to get various people to help build one and toyed with the idea of re-learning a/c design but I dont honestly think I have the time or the skill. I'm sticking to airfields for the moment and having recently invested in a quantity of reference material, I'm now in a position to have a good stab at the above, so cast your vote on that basis

Oh poo! I have cast my vote now. :crying:

Oh well if I could get another throw I would pick Brooklands.

Cheers

Off the basis of Vegas' change of mind, it would appear Brooklands is currently in the lead

Thurleigh get my vote Toby, for a few reasons.... firstly, there isn't one for FS.
2nd. Brookland is a pain in the arse because if you take off towards Heathrow my fram rates drop to about 1 fps

ANd I like the RAE stuff.

But any will be welcome! Good luck with whatever you choose.

I would suggest stuff that is not already in the UK2000 stuff.

Like you have already been doing.

I have a few photos of Portsmouth... noy really sure I have enough to do it in much detail... they're all aerial shots I think. It is one I have considered over the last year or so though
