Ship Simulator 2006
Hi Guys
No idea where i should post this
Found this last night. http://forum.shipsim.com
Demo is available for download on the site.
I very much enjoyed the demo.
Game currently looks a little limited content wise but i think this will go the way of FS & TS if the dev's keep it on track.
Full Version is out tomorrow and i for one will be buying it as soon as i have some money.
If you like boats or messing about on water you will love it.
If the water in FS was as good as it is in this new sim i would be 120% happy.
Regards
Rick

There is another good ship-based sim out here as well, Virtual Sailor. The guy who made it has kept updating it for almost 8 years now and has come up with an excellent program that includes most of the features on this new "Ship Simulator".

Thanks for that Rick.
Like Garry, I've just tried it, and I think it's very good. Brings back memories of messing about on the Thames on my Birchwood Continental, which was moored within spitting distance of Dave B's place.
I just hope that the full release won't be confined to too small an area, and will in time give us access to places nearer to home.
Good fun tho'.

How strange...I'd never heard of this product, and in the space of two days three seperate people have told me about it....
I had a look at the Demo and was quite Impressed, I'd certainly consider buying it when It comes out.
Just as a side interest, anyone else recognise the font used on the main title, looks exactly like the MSFS font, would have thought that was microsoft specific...
