Tobys Time Machine - WIP 56k warning

Post by DispatchDragon »

Some shots of Gloster's Factory at Brockworth - As rendered by Toby Vickers
still a ways to go but its looking good

1/. Of course the Gamecock predated the concrete runway by about 5 years
but the Belfast Hangars were there

Image

2/. Throught the Wires - looking towards Gloucester - Barnwood in the foreground

Image

3/. Chosen Hill and Moreton Valence off in the distance - Moreton Valence is the other half of the scenery

Image

4/. Looking down on the original Belfast Hangars - and the distinctive "tuning fork" taxiways at the end of the runway - Javlins could only take off from the factory not land - they ferried to Moreton Valence for finishing and delivery.
Image
5/. This shot is based on an oil painting done of the Gamecock in the mid 30s

Image

6/. Finally the Gamecock is sooo aerobatic I couldnt resist

Image

enjoy

Leif

Glad you're enjoying it Leif. If you're happy with the version of MV I sent you, barring the couple of things I mentioned I had still to do, then I'll procede with Brockworth. Will be a little longer on this one, obviously with more buildings to add and texture and some foliage.
