First Flights - FS2004
Just thought I would post them as a "test-run":
This was my first ever flight on FS2004. From Liverpool, UK --> Isle of Man. In the background you can see Snowdonia:
This, a few days later, was my and Soggy on a multiplayer line-up - trying out some "heavier" formation flying:
(Apologies if the sizes are too big)
Can somebody tell me what specs & settings they are running to get shots like this...
...or is it just due to the rezise of the final picture.
(I know photoshop made mine look twice as good!)
The shot entitled: "A nice shot taken when flying past the tower." might as well be the real thing in my opinion!
Thanks

Thanks guys.
RE: Photoshop - Thats exactly what ive been doing, so maybe its a case of my ingame settings being a tad low?
:k:
Ill try boosting the in-game setting and see if that makes a difference!
Apologies for the oversized pics. They're a little oversize but not by a great deal. I usually shoot at screen res then knock them down to 800x600 for posting using Photoshop

Should I be aiming for more than two?Nice shots for a first attempt and great to see TWO Vanguards in formation
:k:
Thanks for the greetings!!Jonesy should be able to tell you what he had that set at - but he does turn out great screenies
Oh yes welcome to the forum mate

Hi Tom,
I've no first-hand knowledge of how photobucket works mate but some users have had probs getting screenies to display at the right size.. despite them being cropped/adjusted prior to uploading. These are close enough not to cause forum page resizing so I'm happy for them to stay as-is
Re the Vanguard formation.. you can aim for as many as you like It's rare.. so rare in fact that I can't recall having seen a screenie of a Vanguard formation before so not only was it unusual, it was most welcome. In hindsight, I should have put the emphasis on VANGUARD's rather than TWO
You keep 'em coming!! It's always a pleasure to see pic's of Classic Brit aircraft

I allways try and avoid resizing pictures alltogether. I just crop the fullsize image down to 800*600. But sometimes I need to resize an image slightly before I can get it in the frame.
Hope this helps
Settings I use is basically everything maxed out in the FS menu with 8aa and 16af set in the driver control pannel. I also run 1280*1024.
