Yes, but did you read the photo's caption? It says "Unique formation flight with the Blue Angels paying tribute to the 60th anniversary of the RAF flying display team Red Arrows" :think:
I wonder what that could mean?

Someone don't add up right!??
40th anniversary would be more like it, as the 'reds' were finally allowed to continue as the sole official RAF display team in 1966.
Before then, most of the teams were squadron ones (111, 56,92 & 74 to name a few), with teams from CFS (Red Pelicans) and 4FTS (Yellowjacks)
also appearing.

Ps the role of "sole official RAF display team " didn't last that long,as the early 1970's saw a plethora of Jet Provost teams come and go....
