Tenerife in the 1-11

Post by VEGAS »

Hi all,

Not been up in the 1-11 for a while, so I got her out of the hanger this morning and flew down from Prestwick to Tenerife for a spot of sightseeing! Had to stop via CDG for some juice though!

The weather was rather pleasant although somewhat a little hazy..

Hi Garry,

Yes sadly the livery is only a dream matey!

Only possible in the world of FS! I think it looks good on the little 1-11 though.

I remember the Logan F-27's coming into EGCC as a kiddiewinkle. Probably why I like this scheme.

PS - Vulcan, the Canaries mesh is called project canrias or something like that, available over at all nodes/avsim etc..

was it reported thet the download for the canaries had to have the texture set nova gold. i belive these were freeware but once this canaries set came out they went to payware.
one reason why in never put into my machine. is it true that you have to have nova gold textures to work the canaries set. as i would like to have this scenery.

Other Ocean Joe

Isla de Canaries is off the west coast of Africa in the Atlantic - some really crazy scenery there as its also volcanic - I think Lanzarote is where they filmed 1 million years BC with Raquel Welch....and of Course the Teneriffe airport was the sight of the worst crash in aviation History involving two very famous 747s

Crikey Pete, think I painted that Airways Cymru one... sems like a long time ago now

Leif - did you mention Raquel Welch? Long before my time that she is, I felt it would be discourteous for a thread that mentioned her name, to pass without someone posting this picture
