Searching for a sound file..

Post by Paul K »

Here's the gen, chaps: I've got the Alphasim Halifax/Halton package  so I had a look round for some improved engine noises. All I've been able to find is a file named brshrcug.zip by John Hinson, but it requires an earlier FS98 Hercules engine sound file by Harry Follas, named hercsnd.zip

Does anyone know where I can find Mr Follas' hercsnd.zip ? I've looked all over for it. Alternatively, does anyone know of another good Bristol Hercules sound package ?

As ever, thanks for any help you can give me.

Paul..

Type that (hercsnd.zip) into the search engine at Allnodes and you'll have your file

Ah DB you snuck it

Funny I couln't get a result on the search  , I often don't, I have even copied the filename on the site and then put it in search as a test and it fails. :crying:

So I have sent it to Tim via PM if he is unsuccessful on the sites

Type the filename into the 'zip' box and it should appear Garry. It did with me anyway

It's 'the other one', flightsim.com .. it used to always show 'All nodes busy, try again later', hence the pet name ;)
