Hi Jonbouy,

Not on this forum as much as I would like as current workload is very high.....good for the bank balance anyway...

Anyhow, I digress....just saw your posting on the Fairey Hendon and went to my 'Library' and found a book 'Fairey Aircraft Since 1915' by H.A. Taylor.

Lo and behold there was the little devil on page 208 to 216 so I have scanned the 9 pages at 300dpi and made a PDF for you which is residing here http://briang.cbfsim.org/Hendon.zip

Apparently the Hendon has a rather distinctive 'Whitley' flying attitude in level flight so is rather different to say the least.

So there you are Jonbouy....a little 'Bedtime reading' for you.

Regards.

Superb BB!!!

There's enough there to keep me quiet for a little while

Having a fixed pitch prop should simplify matters although getting it to cruise at that attitude should be fun, its even a little bit nose up at the moment.

Nice to have the 3 view to go with the side view I already have, will have some remodelling to do now, not too much though most of my guesstimates were OK.

Thanks Again!!!

Regards

Jon

I note from current eBay sales that

AIRCRAFT ILLUSTRATED JANUARY 1974 and FEBRUARY 1974 seem to have articles on the Hendon.

Anybody got those?
