My Hawk Flight
Hi Guy's,
I had the most Fantastic trip yesterday afternoon, I had my PAX trip in a 19sqn Hawk, with the callsign of Jester flight, the WX was perfect!
The flight plan consisted of a two ship take off, followed by close formation flying Red Arrows Style @ FL065 over Caernarfon Bay, once the formation phase was completed, we parted company with Jester2, and descended for the west coast of North wales heading for Porthmadog at 800ft and once over the bay descended to 250ft & tuned in for no less than two passes through the infamous "Mach Loop" then moving on to a simulated bombing run near Llyn Bala. On the way back from out target we did a 420knts (7 miles a min) run through the A5 pass broke left & headed for the Snowdon sumit where we did two circuits one under the peak & the other about a 1000ft above the peak, then headed back towards EGOV for a T & G & full stop landing! on both of the transits, I had control of the Aircraft for almost 10 mins all together, even turning the aircraft to diffrent headings and altitudes in accordance with EGOV Tower vectors :dance:
Here are the pictures, sorry about the quality of some of the video capture images, not quite up to Tom's standards......
Enjoy;
