M$ seem to be gradually losing their fear of making the default 737 actually look like a 737

So they do...

I think this must be a late April fool though - there's an Airbus A321!

It's no april fool, believe me ;)

I'm rather looking forward to the new sim. I think it at least looks better than the predecessors!

I wondered if that would ever happen (An Airbus as standard in FS). I wonder what caused them to choose the A321 though? Top marks to MS for realising they might sell a few more copies outside of Europe by including some non-US planes. I know an Airbus will leave a lot of the members here stone cold but I think the general FS flying population - especially those who arent aware of freeware addons - will be quite pleased.

I wonder if they considered making fuselage plugs and modelling the whol family?

Not impressed about what?

Remember, all images shown so far are of BETA builds and no way a finalized look, not only that, but we're talking about DX9 versus DX10 (which they don't have yet).

You ask me the same question every time and I give you the same answer.

Look at FS9 then look at that. Yes it looks slightly different but we are 3 years down the line since FS9 was released.

I shall repeat it.....

Textures look similar.

Colours are exactly the same.

Default aircraft still look wrong.

Beta or not, it won't drastically change between now and it's release.

DX9/DX10..... so why make the game an all rounder for low, mid and high end PC's if you are going to have to purchase a new graphics card to get the full potential from the game? If I've got to buy a new card why not just make the minumum game requirements higher like a lot of other games on the market?
