Just curious, what is the maximum ferry range of the 1-11-400? could it have made the 2200+nm crossing from California to Hawaii?

Did they have extra ferry tanks they could install?

Aloha had One-Eleven 200's and I don't remember anything special mentioned about the delivery, so they must have been OK.

Some exec One-Elevens seem to fly some distance when needed.

Yep just like the 4 Aloha flew mate

big old bladders in a green cabin

:)

Leif

Everything about VHAVA has a ummmm little truth

1/. The Colour scheme DID belong to a company called Venture
2/. 1-11s flew in Hawaii
3/. YS11s arrived from Japan in the same fashion so why not 748s
4/. The Turtle on the tail matches the fictious callsign "honu"
5/. If Hawaiian hadnt been so obligated to the Japanese and trying to
get the JAL/ANA work they may have bought instead of the YS11
6/. Every aircraft in VHAVA's fictious fleet has at one time or another
been based in Hawaii (even - GASP, the Argosy)

Not justifying just having fun :)
