Garry, I understand that, but the sim has never been 100% backward compatible.
Do you remember when FS9 came out, and we couldn't see props and landing gear?
On the one hand, peeps complain that the sim does not move on, and when it does, they moan that something doesn't display correctly.
We need to try to move on.
If less people moaned about it, and more people passed their coments to to MS design team, more would get done.

Please, give it a try. It helps us all.

Steve
I don't expect it to be backward compatible...they claim it is.
I try it and keep trying it.....but it won't run properly .
Jerky stuttery and poor frame rates.
I agree we should move on........but this does not move on.
I get very poor frame rates..the graphics are no better than FS 9.....what is the advantage?
But you say this is an old version..........well lets see the new version.
I'd love it to be an improvement and if it is I'll buy it.
But first
Lets see three years advancement.

I just wish that people would stop knocking a sim which they have not yet seen, and be a little more constructive.Garry Russell wrote:Steve

I think that the demo was a mistake, and should not have been released, but I can only think constructively, and try to help. I just wish that others would, also.

They put out a demo
So that is what we see
If that is not what it is, it's not our fault it's theirs
I have only mention what is problems....I am not going to buy a sim that runs at 8fps
It's strange that they put a demo out but we mustn't critise.
I have not used derogatory words.....I say what I find.
They put out the demo we did not ask for it.
So why when it proves disappointing we are told it's only a demo so we shouldn't critise.
What other company puts out demos of a part finished product.
The demo was put out by them and comments were what they wanted.
Are we supposed to just say nice things when the thing is not living up to what is expected.
The demo should represent a section of the finished product
If it doesn't then what is it, and why doesn't it.
All critisms are of the demo and they are fact.
But no one buys anything after seeing a demo and thinking that's no good but I'll buy it anyway because the finished article is bound to be better.

I saying that no one would try a demo and seeing it no good then go and buy the full version anyway on the assumption it must be better. that person thinking I'll buy it anyway.
I never said I was going to buy it anyway..
