new UKMIL release is the 1950's Baliol T21 in RAF Training Colours

Taken is FSX, visual model worked great, but the panel Gauges failed to work

That sounds ominous Dave. Was the gauge a .gau file or a cab??

when selecting the flight, every .gau file created in incompatablity error

firstly, it claims the gauge is not from a trusted source

Image

then if you select RUN to allow it, it asks if you wish to allow this gauge every time
Image

then it tells you the gauge is not supported by FSX

It says 98 or earlier so perhaps that's just too old

All the gauges work on the ones I've imported.

Thanks for that Dave and Garry

It certainly doesn't bode well for some of the older gauges does it  I'm not sure what the main differences were between FS98 and before or after other than they were compiled using a different version of 'C'. Perhaps the later versions (C++) will still work. If as you say Garry, some .gau gauges are working.. this is probably a case of M$ further weeding out the old stuff as there are a good many now that don't work (not without a fight) in FS9 and some that won't work with a fight!!
XML is all well and good but until the sim offers a greater number of events, there are certain things that can only be done with C++ What do you guys think of the demo?? I CBA to download it!!
