It was giving error message, when i clicked on ok it appeared to have downloaded, but when the sim is running,it keeps trying to load the weather, and stopping the sim, while it trys again. :worried:
Just trying to think, does it go to ms site for weather,or nearest station to where you wish to fly from.
If like i suspect, and from your answers here,it sounds like its to ms site, and it may be down. :dunno:
Thanks for your replys,it saves me the trouble of trying to find a none existant fault in my settings.

Same problem for me.

Let me guess, the authorities have decided that knowing the weather for airports and routes is a 'critical security risk'

I remeber having this problem a while back.

I switched to FS Metar (freeware) and I haven't looked back.

Produces excellent weather for me (a big improvement on MSFS weather) and has little or no effect on frame rates.

Remember to disable Render to Texture in FS to avoid the screen flashing during updates.

I have known the FS weather service to be down for short times but never this long. I wonder if they turned it off to encourage ppl to switch to FSX
