UK2000 Glasgow Extreme - 56k caution

Post by DaveB »

Hi Guy's,

Surprised this hasn't been picked up before but there is a new Glasgow available from Garry Summons. I've not had the opportunity to tweak it in yet but initial impressions are very good. Framerates are no lower than 20fps (on my 2400) so it should go well for all you guys with mega-systems out there  Lot's of AI available (soon) with airport traffic/outside traffic coming as standard. All moves smoothly

I got mine off Simmarket but you can probably buy it direct from GS

HI Matey

Bought it as soon as i saw it.

"Brilliant" is a word i would like to use

Garry has definately cracked it in his last couple of products.

Gatwick Pro & Glasgow Extreme are well worth the money.

Regards
Rick

Hiya Rick,

Yes.. I agree 100% with that  The textures are superb and framerates are excellent. I have taken a few shots to show the boys so here goes..

The only thing I'm not sure of is the brilliance of the approach lights during the day. Get up close (as in shot 1 I think it is) and they look fine but at a distance, they're like miniature Sun's

I was a bit scared of getting Gatwick Pro due possible framehits and I already have OSS Gatwick but if it's as good as this, then I might be tempted

Oh...that 8th picture brings back memories, I once taxied a plane
off that stand to go for power runs; and the propwash blew all the LD
containers everywhere in the Cargo compound.....

Garry really is the man when it comes to this new scenery. He really has excelled with his recent products. That plastic is itching to be used.

Just be aware of Gary's new anti-pirate way of activation mate. When you download the software, it's in demo mode. You then have to enter your sale number, email address and name and press a button. You then get another email with a separate activation number  Must have taken me 5 or 6mins last night just to activate it  Money well spent though Jetty
