Where does Rick's water-based creations live ?

Hi Guys

None of it is anywhere near release and it's just a sideline.

FSX has 6 times the polys in the models but i see no new details so i can only guess all the polys are for this self shadowing that i was hoping would be revolutionary.

Bump mapping is in most games to negate the need for all the extra polys so i think they have lost the plot a little at least in the beta.

No other game i know needs an extra model so god knows why M$ need one. :dunno:

Anyway so far i am not convinced it is anything more than FS9 with too many polys.

the only detailed sea craft is the SRN4.

the rest are very low poly for Ai use.
nobody would want to sit in a ship in a straight line for 71 minutes and back.

(well i wouldn't)
But the Hovercraft is a laugh a minute to cross the channel with as pilot.
