Argh!! a boat!

Don't mention boats in this house!

Went down the local marine shop today (boat is due out of the yard on Wednesday) credit card came out almost £900 lighter.

New VHF radio, GPS-Chartplotter-Fishfinder combi unit. New fenders, pack of flares, 2 life jackets and lots of rope.

She'll kill me when she see's the bill!

I remember trying it out using my (then) new Malta scenery.

Worked OK but limited (couldnt actually sail)!!

I'll stick to my sailing sim methinks.

Dave B - to all intents and purposes its 'motorised" Im still working out how the sailing rig works on it - but it looks good and makes such a nice noise both sitting still (rigging tinkling) or underway I couldnt help it - now after Calypsos screen shots Im tempted to go take a shuftie at sialing sim :)

in either case its a nice break from the norm.

Reheat - didnt you heed the warning about a boat being a hole in the water into which you shovel money????

Or to paraphrase a good friend of mine - If it Flys, Floats or F***s
its cheaper to rent it

Calypso - is there a sailing sim demo???

Cheers
