Classic British Flight Sim

hey some shots of the aircraft i am currently doing my PPL in, based with Eagle Flight Training, Luton Airport. for the Premier aircraft design model, comes with an alternate panel and will be available from UKMIL's site when the server is back up.

I assume they do conversions there to the tobago to?

£148 per hour :shock:

A bargain!

I normally allow a budget of £250 per hour for my Flying Lessons.
Scratty old C152 out of Shoreham, base price is £140 an hour, but inevitably you will end up in the circuit for longer than expected so you gotta pay for the fuel.

Then no doubt you need some new print of a theory book or a new chart or something.

But hey..when you are up there with no traffic lights and just the air beneath your wings who cares!?

The place where I had my lesson charges £112 for a PA38/C152, £127 for a C172 or £145 for a C172SP.

Here the prices for lessons are around £90 for a Cherokee and £70 for the local version of the Cub, although that has gone up a bit with the high oil price :roll: I can also rent the Cub for £50/hour if I want to play about by myself, although you really have to book well in advance. Thats from the airport in the middle of the city (Campo de Marte), so the approaches are never dull.

It may seem cheap, but as a percentage of local income it's VERY expensive :crying:

How does the virtual model compare with the real thing then? Similar charcteristics? :think:

yes if you set all realisms to full its just as light on the controls as the real thing. you just dont feel the G's. maybe that can be solved with 12 Pints???
