The new section over at Classic British Files,the happy otter's own site,is now up,running and ready for you to post your Classic British modelling articles and pictures of what you've built.

The theme is Brits in British service, in "foreign"service or "foreigners" in British sevice,military,civil,GA,rotary and fixed wing,Edwardian,WW1,WW2,'50's,60's,70',prototype or whatever,just as long as it has a Classic British theme to it.

Hi Garry

Please can you post some pics of your models as i love that sort of stuff.

sadly as i'm finding that i have lost my abilities to build stuff like i used to.

I seem to have moved to the digital way of doing things a little too much.

I lost all of them in family circumstances apart form a few crushed bits. :sad:

So if I am ever able to make them again I will but at the moment I am unable to.

I had a set of Viscount 700' with the different cockpits air scoop props, radar etc.

Capital, Air France, Alitalia, BEA Red Square, Air Canada, British United.

Also a corrected Airfix Vanguard and a Merchantman.

I recently found the remains of my Silver City Superfreighter and BEA Dakota in the pinstripes using FROG Viscount decals. The Viscount went into Red Square...I think I have a wing of that in a box with a fuse of a RS Trident.

I also cut a Heller DC 6B down into a Canadair Four with modified Shack engines and I was making a Carvair out of the Minicraft DC 6N with a shaped balsa block on the front end and the extended fin and shortenend tailplanes...just needed to do the engines.

Some of these exisit somewhere but I have boxes in various places. I doubt if anything is not broken.
