I should like to edit my fs9.cfg and delete my present entry for NVIDIA drivers allowing FS9 to rewrite the cfg file on restart as suggested in earlier entries on this subject. Would someone be kind enough to inform me of the exact location of the fs9.cfg file please?

Hi Hobby,

You'll find your FS9.CFG in..
C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application data\Microsoft\FS9

The \User\ bit is you as in the main logon user.

Hobby, quite easy, go to Start then Search (files or folders) type in fs9.cfg, press search button....It will then locate it for you. Should open in notepad.

Regards Nigel.

For Garry and Nigel

Thank you for your help. Hidden files gave me the fs9.cfg which has now been edited giving the new drivers a re-install and much improved performance.
