I agree with Tom and CB, it was only a matter of time. When ever I saw his show I though he was crazy and was going to get himself killed on film some day, especially when he picked up deadly snakes by the tail ("isn't she beeeeauuuutiful!"). I hope we don't get to see this video on TV.
Joe Cusick,

I don't know if any outside the US saw a commercial
with steve in the middle of nowhere handling a snake
.....gets bit ..... and then finds out the anti venom
was shipped by a freight company Other than
FEDEX from a crew member????
jokenly Steve rolls his eyes back in his head and
says something like
" FEDEX when it absolutly has to be there ..... <croak>"
............... don't remember exactly as it went...
it's bound to happen when you play with fire.. and Steve
knew that.....
I do feel very sad on reading the news I'm gonna miss the ol bloak
in the good spirit of adventure that steved loved so much
it's too bad he didn't live to tell the story .......his story
you know......... CRIKEY !!
prayers and thoughts for his wife and children
and for steves big Gator in the sky

Wouldn't totally surprise me actually. He wanted his previous bites shown as well to remind people how dangerous these animals are and to remind them that even those who are "professionals" still have the animals get the better of them.Vulcan_to_the_sky! wrote:...Steve Irwin wants the video of his death to be broadcasted. Not sure I believe that somehow....
Read the Daily Blog yesterday and it appears that his death will not be shown.
I for one would not wish to see it but for those who do, then I would imagine either it would be through curiosity or they just have an unhealthy fascination to watch some-ones' death!!

I used to be an optimist but with age I am now a grumpy old pessimist.
