Garry, you're certainly doing Rick's creations enormous justice! Every conceivable hybrid livery, you must really love 'em!

Is there a raspbery ripple one available, or are you planning one? I know XT575 had lumps 'n' bumps so the basic model wouldn't be entirely accurate for it.

Chris,

There are a couple of ETPS paints available for the 700srs.. both of XR802 which you might like  Don't know of a RR paint but I only have about a hundred of his paints

Hi Chris

No Raspberry Ripple as the only Viscount to wear it was the one you mentioned.

It is as you say extensively modified so that's the end of that I'm afraid

I did RAAF both in it's early highly polished and later gray undersides.

That along with the two Dave mentioned is about it

I am just finishing off another Viscount...the third today

Nice one Garry. Another candidate for dusty airstrip flights around Africa. I think if you ever went on Mastermind then you should definatley have Viscount Repaints as your chosen subject!

Cheers mate.

I think I would fail that too!

My chosen subject would be something crazy like

Manufacturers of Dolls House Wallpaper Adhesive.

Just to cock the researchers up!

Garry

getting back to the subject of BMA and their penchant for Dry leasing
I do remember that they had a 707 in the mid 70s that was leased to Sudan
(i believe) after 4 months in Khartoum it had to be totally defumigated and
the ops guy who went to HSSS with it had to have a series of rabies shots
from being bitten by a feral cat that got into the aeroplane.

Opps sorry rambling again

Well in 1976 one of the 707s was leased to EAA. Could have been a Super VC10 to Nairobi and back, but no a BMA 707. It went tech on the way back and we had an extra day's holiday in a hotel at the end of Athen's airport runway!
