Extra pedestal night lighting for VC
'Grabable' controls in VC
Simulated engine 'Top Temp' limiter (from VC pedestal only)
Hopefully more realistic engine temperature performance (Spey 512)
Much improved Thrust Index gauges (100% for takeoff gives a proper rated thrust)
VC views panel included for co-pilot position
'G force' flexing wings
Wing views + On/Off toggle
Fixed minor bug where APU switch was sticking.
More accurate air system & pressurization, including Safety Value & Ram Air switches
ILS backcourse now operational
More realistic stall warn with stick push if not rectified
2D panel lights & VC roof lights now work independantly
Proper generator switch action
HSI - To/From indicator added
Attitude Indicator - proper CDI + VOR/LOC flag
Authentic sounds for stick shaker, stick pusher, overspeed, takeoff config warning, engine fires
Also extra beeps & horns for Altitude alert & Cabin Height
To avoid clutter, Toggle icons are now all on their own popup window
ADF tuning knobs move the correct numbers (as per the real radio unit)
AP disengage light works
Working engine fire test, stall test & overspeed test switches
26 deg flap drag reduced slightly, can now use technique given in AA 1-11 400 manual. 26 deg & 45 deg selected before intercepting glide slope.
Drift degrees added to info on 'Check List' popup window
Engines respond quicker in higher RPM range, idle to full time more realistic.
Gear warning settings corrected
Think that's about it.
This model is not intended for FSX, it's for FS9.
Seems I'll have to make a separate FSX version to cope with the MSFS teams idea of backward compatibility. :huf:
There should be a Trident update to follow in the next few days.
Extras look rather nice, I'll try them out tomorrow some time. Re the drift that you've added to the checklist pop-up, is Landing Lights ON for take-off on there yet? I can't wait to see the wing flex.
Well I'm resisting landing lights 'on' as a compulsory check for takeoff.
It's dead easy with FlyNet though, you're ok to go if all the first column are ticks & all the second column are crosses.
Landing lights 'off' is an included check after takeoff.
As a point of interest, the Trident manual (real one) says that landing lights are under no circumstances ever to be extended during takeoff.
Took my new improved G-ASTJ for a test spin today, excellent work DM! I particularly like the stall warning and stick pusher, certainly gets your attention if you've let it wander... And the icons panel is very handy but out of sight when not needed. Night lighting looks great too, all in all another great update, thanks
Quick addition to my last post - did a VA flight in G-ASTJ today to Frankfurt to test it all 'for real' and all the little details make for a very immersive aircraft. I got the benefit of the altitude alert and cabin pressurization sounds (took me a while to identify what the pressurization warning was  )
The 1-11 is definitely my favourite aircraft at the mo, great work DM !
Yes the cabin height warning is bound to confuse a lot of people.
You can cancel the horn by clicking on the amber warning light on the centre panel.
If you're not bothered about setting cabin pressure, you should just click the safety valve switch (centre panel) to 'CLOSE' before you take off. The horn shouldn't go off then.
I'm going to make the 1-11 & Trident updates available from my website on Monday.
