So far so good. :worried: It's about 5:30 here in Texas so I still have a ways to go. I actually like Friday the 13, but of course that's what you'd expect from a person who owns (ahem) lives with a black cat.

My day was a bl££dy lucky day if you ask me- lots of good things happened today!

Though, I did see some poor chap on the A38 tonight.. it was/is still incredibly foggy (this was around 11pm). He'd been shunted through a damn barrier and into a hedge.. I guess for some it IS that unlucky Friday 13th!

I was supposed to me going out for a drink with a potential new Mrs Otter, it got to 1600 when I was supposed to be off and I was ordered to stay at work, got off at 2245 so no new Mrs Otter tonight...

I guess that could be very lucky, depends which way I look at it!!!

I tried to fit a venetian blind to the window near my computer, and realized that with the end brackets, it was slightlly too long for the wooden batten above the window aperture. So, instead of quickly screwing the thing in place, I had to take the batten down, go to Homebase and get a longer piece of wood, along with screws and Plasplugs, measure it, drill it, paint it, and only then screw the effing blind to it.

There's no such thing as a five minute job, is there. :curse:

Tornado's took off on time, with the right crew and without fault. I don't know if they came back though...I went home!

Work was hell, If it could have gone wrong for me it did, and to cap it all off I had a blazing row with the girlfriend!
