sorry for being slow to get back....been away for a few days...Will have a look at the CH site, re Drivers.

Are they part of the CH Manager setup? Only that was the only download available some years ago.

Cheers, Arnie.

Suppose at the end of the day when you find that FSX doesn't do as it should and you cannot rectify a problem you could always take it back to where you bought it stating 'Not fit for the purpose'..............get a refund...............then when Microsoft get fed up with all these returns they may well then be forced into doing something about FSX!!

To be fair, the new version of FS is designed to be run on "future" machines. As was FS9 when it was launched. It is only in the last 12 to 18 months that FS9 has come into its own, with todays hardware capabilities.

In order to run FSX in its true glory, we will all have to wait until supporting hardware catches up. And no doubt all our pockets are a little fuller.

But, as they say in one add....the future looks bright.

Arnie.

Funny I never saw that on the side of the box
" this will run like a dog until you spend Granny's inheritence to get the latest hardware" Was that what they wrote?? Must have missed it somewhere... To be fair

Must admit the box does nicely balance the little side table next to my computer desk - just slides nicely under the short leg..

And if anyones curious - YES I bought a US copy - agree with most here -
on my FS only PC it takes 30 minutes to load and Im getting frame rates
in the teens with setting that on FS9 would have me roaring aroud at 50-60
fps -<<And frankly Scarlett I still dont give a damn>> its FS for players of tomb raiders as far as Im concered - WITHOUT Lora Crofts attributes :tuttut:

There just isn't enough evidence to support a purchase. I will stick with fs9 and buy a copy of Tomb Raider.
Onwards and Upwards!!!!!!!!
