It's still there as well. I had a look inside some years ago when the AFS still used it.
It's been replaced with one of those new green mock ups now.

Indeed Eddie and how comparitivly light an aeroplane is compared to other structures of that size

But it is often difficult to guage scale.

I used to find that with the Viscount and Vanguard that had such large windows it made them look smaller than they really were until you walked up to one.

When taking a view like that its hard to believe that the Britannia is 124ft 3ins long and the Vanguard 122ft 10 1/2ins long, as you say Garry, the size of the windows then and what we are used to now do distort the perception of scale.
