Right click on the command bar for a drop down menu, click 'Customise Command Bar', 'Add or Remove Commands', select the 'Read Mail' icon from the available toolbar buttons and add it to the current toolbar buttons.
And/Or find the Outlook Express icon in the start or programs menu and drag a copy on to the taskbar - then you don't have to open IE to check your emails.

Everything is customizable, so it's more or less just a matter of taste.
I like IE7 and MP11 so I'll stick to the newer versions (as I always do)
It is my experience that no matter what, the newer version is always a bit more efficient the rest is just a matter of layout...
But each to his/her own.

I guess we all are at heart, otherwise we wouldn't be hanging round a classic aircraft forum - it goes with the territory
We'd be over at Avsim with the kids comparing the latest Boeing to the latest Airbus
(EDIT: Which is just the point Dan made while I was typing

I cracked and finally downloaded IE7 having suffered a couple of weeks of constant reminders. No problem with speed but the res looks wrong and I can't seem to get it to look sharp  Anyone else seen this and if so, do you know of a fix

If I did Ben, it wasn't intentional as I've no idea what that is

Hi Dave
I ran it for a few hours and then found the best fix was to roll back to 6plus or whatever it was I had before.
Didn't like the display or the way it did things

I can't see me lasting a few hours Garry. I'll close the forum now and get rid of it. My eye's are bad enough without seeing blurred stuff where it shouldn't be
