I managed to aquire a copy of the Corgi 2007 catalogue, and aswell as other nice forthcoming models, I saw these two beauties which are on the cards, in a decent 1:144 scale........
...........And 'the late' G-ARVM ..........
There's also a Hemp coloured K.2. But don't let the Missus see this! - They're due to sell at £104.99 each!!

Oh dear  Look what they've done to VM. They've put an extra rear door on her. Silly buggers. I hope they don't want £104 for that
BTW I've got this old AeroMini model that I bought in Japan in the 70s. It doesn't look very sophisticated now but they're quite rare and one went on eBay the other day for £150. Of course, his was boxed and hadn't sat out in the dust for 30 years like mine  Dunno what scale but that's an A4 piece of card it's sitting on.

Another thing that scream at me Ian
The open nose-wheel doors.
They have modelled them at a coiast and they should have left them off :huf: .
I did notice the extra Supers door at the back as well.
Still it will please many
I certainly remember the Aeromini which I seem to remember the VC 10 was in a different scale to the rest was is 1/288 or was that the others. Was the other sacle 1/24

long time ago
Apart from thumbnails on the adverts which were poor in those days....this will be early seventies, I have never seen one.

Yes, that rings a bell - what an amazing memory you have Mr Russell

I bought an AeroMini PanAm 707 at the same time and the pair sat together very nicely for years. I can't remember when I last saw that one. Too many house moves.... Wouldn't they have made a pretty pair if I'd kept them pristine? If, if, if. What is it they say? If we had some ham we could have some ham and eggs if we had some eggs

Memory...well there's not much else in there taking up space
BTW typo....of sorts this back up keyboard misses letters
I meant 1/240 not 1/24...........now a 1/24 Trans Atlantic jet airliner

Crikey! A 1:24 VC10 would be about as long as a bed!!

That would depend on the size of the bed....

I suppose Dan you have a special large, reinforced bed "just in case"

Actually I sleep on the couch, the rest of the house is filled with:
A wife
two kids
a dog
two cats
a mouse
and a rabbit.....
The only place I can have a bit quietness for my self, is behind my 'puter... and when everything is quiet...the couch....
But it is big ;-)
