HMS Ark Royal IV Video
Hi All,
Just a quick post to say I have made a video of the soon to be released HMS Ark Royal IV, this is the first video I have ever done on Flight Sim and had a lot of fun in the process!
It has been posted over at Flightsim.com under the name "Arkvideo.zip" or search by my name "Fraser Paterson". I uploaded it last night (UK time) so it should be there with a day or so. If not you can view it slightly smaller at YouTube at....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=At6aTcGQE5I
The Ship is basically ready and only needs a couple of inputs from the modeller to help me align a few more textures, however he is off to sea for a couple of weeks so please bear with us.
I tried to compress the Video without losing too much detail and it is 35mb at 640x480resolution in .WMV format so should play on all up to date Windows Media Players.
If you are interested I hope you like it, and comments greatly appreciated (however yes I do know that Phantoms took off with Reheat but I had no control of the Aircraft model!)
Happy viewing.

That's fantastic, Fraser. Very well done. I'm really looking forward to this.

Thanks for all the positive comments guys, I really appreciate them.
I think the choice of music was better understood here at CBFS as no doubt people will realise it was because of the BBC "Sailor" series in 1970's. Seaking 55 tells me you can see him in one of the episodes, no doubt with some period haircut of the time that most of the cast and crew had!
It was my first attempt at a Flight Sim movie, and I think I'll definitely do some more in the future should anyone wish for any videos made of their work I would be delighted to help if I can.
Thanks again guys,
Best,
Fraser.

I still bear mental scars to this day, from the trauma of witnessing the Ark TV version of Magic Roundabout!! :madhead:sketchy74 wrote:I think the choice of music was better understood here at CBFS as no doubt people will realise it was because of the BBC "Sailor" series in 1970's.
