I though the Rover P6 engine in the Nimrod was a good one!

The Olympus was also "marinised" and powered the Mk V Frigates built by Vospers (and Vickers?) which were sold to the Iranian Navy circa 1970.

The RN have Olympus powered ships too RHS. You'll also find Tyne's in some

The trouble with the RN now is "some" is a very small number! :crying:

And the Proteus was used in the cross channel Hovercraft. (at least I assume it was the same, just a marine version.)

They don't put a complete list...no types on the Dart and the Comet is not on the Avon so there can be expected to be a lot of types not mentioned. :think:
