There was one of these in the foyer of 'Cranebank' - BOAC's training centre at LHR. I used to study it every day during my six weeks of training in 1972. If I knew how much it would be worth now I'd have made more of an effort to put it in my bag
I would really like that - I'll put it on my list of 'things-that-I-want-that cost-more-than-a-grand' and stick it on the fridge next to the lottery ticket

I saw similar up at the East Fortune museum years ago
I don't know it is is still there
I remember staring at that in awe and trying to work out just how it could be do to such a high standard.

I remember seeing a model like that at Cosford many years ago. I think it might have been a VC10 not too sure.
