Hi All...Can anybody tell me Why Channel Airways wore the markings of Continental Airlines mid 60s paint, with Continental golden jet titles?
Thanks

Channel's livery was in talks with Cotinental when Continental wanted to inroduce trans Altlantic flights
Channel were to have acted a agents for them this side and fly European connections for Continental, but it didn't happen.
The Viscount 812 fleet was sold on for that purpose. Apart form a history of Channel publishedn the late sixties and a bit said at the time this seems to largely be forgotten
The Gold Channel livery was already used by Channel before the closer livery of the Viscount 812 and the livery it self was quite different.
The Continental Golden Jet in Channels case meant flying across the Continent of Europe.

Channel repaint for Viscount was mentioned in an earlier thread. You said it had been done, but I can't find it.
Do you know where I can find it?
