leading the life of a modern student may be hard, but i managed to get this for £55 inc.delivery

from http://www.computerxtras.co.uk - very speedy, quick response to emails...anyway...

to the right are some cables - guessing to take extra power for the fan. now my current set up doesn't have these (heatsink) and i have no idea where they go! i have the motherboard manual and i don't want to risk it :P they are part #: A001-W011 - dual power adapter

the instructions with the card are:

- install card into AGP slot
- place driver CD in CD drive
- go.

no wonder it was cheap

With a front picture like that, I'd have serious trouble explaining to my wife that "t'is for the 'puter..."

Ooh, where did you find it? That sounds like a decent price, my FX5900 Ultra is well overdue for replacement.

That card is £66 incl delivery at the link you posted. Any tips on negotiating £11 off?
