Goodbye my friends

Dear Friends,

This may come as a shock to most of you, but lif and work especially have been getting me down for quite a while, and so I have decided to take time out and get away from it all and get my head together.

I have taken the monumental decision to take a complete year off, starting tomorrow. There are a number of reasons, but the major contributor of my decision has been my involvement, so far peripheral, with a South American group fighting for freedom and justice against unbelieveable odds, just as I feel I am with my current life.

They are based in Bolivia, and I have been in contact with them for a number of months, and have now decided to join with them and offer them my total and utmost support.

I know you will think I am totally crazy, but I have not taken this decision lightly.

Nothing can stop me going now to give my support to something I deeply believe in and am looking forward to. I realise that at this time of the year my timing is bad and that my family and friends will suffer, but I must do it now.

I know the terrible risk I am taking, but with luck on my side I will meet you all again in happier times.

I have attached a photograph below of some of the tribe I hope to help and support, and I hope you will understand there was little other choice.

Cheerio for now, and wish me luck,

Graham

You have my respect, Graham. One has to admire a man who will put his principles above his family. Of course they find it difficult to understand at the moment, but when they meet your new chums, I'm sure they will give you their total support.

I do have a concern, though. You mention the dangers and have obviously given it much thought. But one thing worries me. I have heard it said that ladies who live together in close proximity find that their periods eventually align to those of the other's. Have you considered your actions when you wake one morning to find six loaded AK47s pointed at your nether region and six trigger fingers trembling with the stress of PMS. And your six chums just waiting for your to utter your first word of greeting. I do hope it is a wise word.

Thank goodness PMS only last 24 days

Graham's role I'm sure will only be one of support......and judging by the pic some will need more support than others.

One thing for certain.....he will have his hands full.
